Our Products and Projects
We are agro-processors utilizing the entire value chain of the pawpaw plant to manufacture pawpaw-based products. In addition to this,we provide income-generating opportunities to our contracted smallholder farmers in Western Kenya: Vihiga, Kakamega, Busia, Kisumu, Nyamira, Kisii, Homabay, Migori, lower Kericho, and Siaya counties
JAM PRODUCTION
Pawpaw production is another activity which has been embraced by Vihiga, Kakamega, Busia, Kisumu, Siaya, Kisii, Nyamira, Homabay, Migori & Kericho counties for its high returns and health benefits. Deina papaya Jam, our flagship product is currently stocked at 14 outlets across the country: Chandarana Foodplus, House of Leather and Safeway Hypermarkets. Other target markets include regional distributors and wholesalers in- East Africa, COMESA and IGAD while the international markets include Middle East, Europe, Far East, and the US.
LATEX
Main consumers of the product are brewing companies, detergent manufacturers, meat processors, pharmaceutical firms, laundries, photographic laboratories, bakers and hotel industries.
LYE IN LIQUID / GRANULAR FORM
Main consumers of the product are meat processors. Currently we have distributed to farmers up to 15,000 seedlings which we are going to collect latex from farmers by September this year and start processing while the fruits will be ready for processing in November.
PAPAYA SEED OIL
Main consumers of the Papaya Seed Oil are cosmetic manufacturers. Main consumers of the papaya product are cake for the animal feeds manufacturers and for pharmaceutical firms.
